Teaching Points

Ephesians 4:16 AMP
For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

Are You a Toe or Tomato?
Often we struggle with mindsets. One in particular has kept the Global Body disconnected and that's the mindset of separation between "daily life" and "sunday church life." What many don't understand is that their joint that supplies the Body on Sunday is the exact same joint that they are through the week. One can't just be a toe on Sunday and then an ear on Monday. The toe has a responsibility to function and keep balance everyday and it can't separate itself and become two entities whenever it wants.

Often we think we must live separate lives because we are placed in positions, whether it be a job or family situation, where we are misfits--like a marigold growing among tomatoes. But where we are fitted and positioned in life has purpose. You may think that you shouldn't behave like a marigold because what would the tomatoes think? However, you can't be anything other that what your are, and what you hadn't considered is that by being a marigold, you are actually protecting the tomatoes from insects! Your placement has a purpose. It is challenging, but as we focus on our strengths, gifts and callings it will birth an ease, we'll bloom, and there will be no distinction between "daily life" and "sunday church life."

No Man is An Island
Everything that we are working through, we may not think it has anything to do with the Global Body or the local church Body, but that's a lie. It is the very pulse of the connection. There's no "corporate," "unity" or "oneness" unless our personal lives merge. Especially when in corporate prayer, there is purpose to bringing the supply of our personal lives such as what the Lord is teaching and growing us through.

We are one. We are connected, each supplying something needed. When we understand what it means to be a "toe" (or marigold), coming together with the rest of the Body is significant. This revelation should make us eager to gather Sunday and Wednesdays knowing that we've got to be there to do our part and be asking, "Where does my supply fit, can I pull from another supply?" God loves to move when we are gathered together, this is how we can share in his goodness. It also it brings hope and clarity to those who can see what someone else has come through.

The Prayer Pulse

Father, thank you for your truths
• You translated us from one kingdom to another
• Thank you for opening our eyes to see
• We are only one part
• Your part
• One Kingdom
• It is yoursRemember when Pastor ran with Brother Briggs
• He saw what you were doing
• He humbled himself saying, "I'm going to do it God's way"
• Like Caleb, "we can do this"
• In Him we can do it.

We are not part of the world and the Kingdom of God
• You translated us
• You made us your Kingdom
• Thank you for teaching us your truths
• Bringing understanding and revelation

Every one of us has been created as an essence of God
• That's how each one of us can be called his favorite
• There's no other like you
• That's why it's so awesome to be with each other

Thank you for the supplies of one anther
• You reveal more of yourself with each person who crosses our path
• Even those who aren't in the family yet
• We want to embrace that personality, joy, quirkiness
• Everyone lost or save is an essence of God
• We want to do what ever it takes to get those eyes out of darkness and into light
• Open their hearts to receive that we may know that essence of You

You connected us this morning
• We set up the atmosphere
• We speak to the dry bones and declare

See a garden
• A wild flower blooming where there are no others like it
• A poppy amongst roses
• You place us

Speak it out
• The Lord says,"Tag you're it. You're the one that's going bring it"
• I want your words to bring forth breath in man
• I've placed you smack in the middle of the marketplace

You cannot be anything else
• Stop trying to be a rose just because you were planted with roses
• If you're a poppy, be a poppy
• There's a reason you're a poppy
• It should sing it's "poppy-ness"
• Love being a poppy a midst all the roses
• There's purpose
• We give you praise

Lone flower on the side of the highway
• We have you, you are worth more than anything
• You want us to be like that wild flower
• Stubborn and determined to bloom where you've placed us
• In the marketplace, In the church, homes
• You've not given up on us, we'll not give up on you
• We become the encouragers you've called us to be
• We get it out
• We give it birth
• What you've birthed inside us, we speak it forth
• Declare the double
• A pastor that challenges us

A calling forth of the gifting and the unctions
• The light of our eyes
• Stirring up of the gifts
• Visions and dreams
• We call forth a release of the gifts and the callings
• Visions and dreams
• A release of the spiritual gifts in this house
• In full operation
• In boldness and confidence
• Embracing and accepting
• It's not too good to be true

This body thinks that unless there's effort that we can't have it?
• That's the flesh
• That's the old man
• No, it's easy

Father we call it forth
• All those things
• That each individual person thinks "it's too good to be true"
• Call forth a releasing of acceptance
• Embracing of those things
• Embrace, accept, receive
• Step out and become a professional of those things

Shout it from the roof tops
• The violent take it by force
• Enter in and fight

Amen.
