Ephesians 6:11-18 AMP
Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.] Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

Being conscious of a mighty move in your spirit wanting and desiring to do the will of God. But don't try to do it yourself. Just learn to relax and to flow with the Spirit. Don't try to figure out in your head, "What does He want me to do?" Just learn to relax and flow with the Spirit, it'll take care of itself you don't have to worry. I just wonder, I know there's something, I know there is something He wants me to do. Fine just keep on praying. And just flow with the Spirit. You'll not come into the full potential of what God has for you tomorrow. You'll not come into the full potential of what God has for you next week. You'll not come into the full potential of what God has for you next month. Some will not even come into the full potential of what God has for you next year. Some will not for quite a period of time. But, as you're faithful, and as you're trained, and as you learn to yield, you'll move eventually into that place, hallelujah, that He had for you all along. Glory to God. Glory to God. Did you hear me? Did you hear me? Praise His holy Name.

But you see moving into that place of ministry or whatever it is, whether it's full time ministry, or pulpit ministry, or personal ministry, or whatever your place is in the Body of Christ. Moving into that place is fueled by prayer, fired by the Spirit and ignited with His glory. Hallelujah to Jesus. Glory to God. I said, Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, praise God. But you see if there's no fuel there, there's nothing to ignite. Notice the Spirit said [I never thought of that, it came out of the inside of me] fueled by prayer, fired by the Spirit, ignited with His glory. You have to stop and analyze that, there's a difference between firing, igniting--yes. You see it's like the furnace, you see? There's a pilot light there that fires the thing. And then when the whole thing has become ignited then the heat flows out. Ha, ha, ha, can you see what He's saying? Fueled by prayer, fired by the Spirit, ignited with His glory. Hallelujah. I never though of that. I mean it just flowed up out of my Spirit. But you see if there's no fuel there, there's nothing to fire. If there's no fuel, there's nothing to fire. Fueled by prayer, hallelujah.


Are You Striving or Resting?
Put on the whole Armor of God, and then keep standing on His word... Battles must be done from a place of rest. This sounds counter intuitive doesn't it? But we operate under different laws than this natural world. When in battle or at anytime, we are to seek out His rest. Don’t 'fight' the battle, for the battle is already won by Him and His Word. Fight with the Word by staying in the word, meditating on the word and releasing the word in prayer--prayer is a powerful spiritual weapon. The antithesis to this form of battle is worry. Basically, worry is sin. It's the meditation of fear. Worry identifies where you are in your standing--a spiritual barometer of sorts. However, prayer helps us find our place of rest in Him. It keeps us in faith in His ability to fulfill His promises so we can enter His rest. We must be in rest to hear and spiritually discern. Then in prayer, when we hear promptings drop in our spirit, we can declare them out with boldness.

So put on the armor and stand in His peace and rest. Resist temptations to “help” God with what He is doing and stop trying to win the battle for Him--it's a temptation to do it yourself. Resist with your whole body, spirit and soul, and fight the good fight of faith to enter His Rest!!! Stand-and keep on standing!!!
